Santos Hotels is a national hotel chain that was founded 35 years ago with the opening of the Hotel Praga in Madrid, a hotel which, given its location and capacity was one of the pioneers in the changing hotel scene in Madrid. A year later we opened, also in Madrid, the Hotel Agumar in a clear bet to meet the rising demand of tourism and corporate clients that the Spanish capital generates.
The Santos brothers decided to continue expanding in Santander, their homeland, with the opening of the Hotel Santemar, which became a reference in Hospitality in the North of Spain given its size and the number of guest and conference rooms. A few years later they decided to open the Hotel Saray in the spectacular city of Granada. A little later, in the city of Palma de Mallorca, the Hotel Nice Palace was opened, the first 5 Star hotel in the chain.Then in the year 2006, Santos Hotels expanded into the Levante Region, or east of Spain, opening the Hotel Nelva in Murcia and the Hotel and Health Spa Las Arenas in Valencia.
In a strong bet on the future, Santos Hotels is carrying out new projects in cities such as Madrid with the Hotel Maydrit, inaugurated in the summer of 2008 almost at the same time as the Hotel Diagonal Plaza en Zaragoza. A marvellous 5 star Hotel , Hotel Val de Neu opened its doors in Baqueira Beret in Autumn 2008Spring 2009 sees the opening of the first Santos Hotel in Barcelona and in 2010 we hope to open the new face of the Miramar Palace, the first 5 Star hotel in MalagaSantos Hotels is a chain of 4 and 5 star hotels that adapts to the changing world of high class Hospitality.
